About Us

The Hall sits prominently in the middle of the village, only half a mile from two junctions of the A3 London to Portsmouth road, about midway between Haslemere and Petersfield.

Over the past 10 years the Hall has been upgraded and refurbished so that it is now an excellent facility suitable for a wide variety of events and activities.

The most recent project (Sept 2018) has involved redecoration, renewing the heating, lighting and window blinds and putting in wider double door access to the rear garden which now has a new stone patio area. Good quality audio visual equipment has been installed which includes a ceiling mounted projector, drop down screen and surround sound loud speakers. There are also 120 new chairs and soon we’ll have a high speed WiFi connection.

Greatham is a fine historic Hampshire village situated in wonderful rolling countryside within the newly formed South Downs National Park. The village is listed in the 1089 Domesday Book, it has a 16 building Conservation Area and at its heart stands a splendid lofty-spired Victorian church.

The Village Hall consists of a Main Hall, Stage area, Committee Room, Kitchen/Bar, full disabled access and disabled WC, car parking and a large mowed grass field.

Adjacent to the Village Hall and Playing Fields is a Children's playground with swings, climbing frame, and zip slide. This equipment is owned and maintained by Greatham Parish Council.

Also there is a youth sized, white lined soccer pitch (goal nets and corner flags and even footballs (you will need to pump them up!) can be provided).
